Another irrelevant person who's defining characteristic is just being mentally ill.
Fuckig hell, this world is doomed...
Just to clarify, by "mentally ill" do you mean that she suffers from a mental condition (such as depression) or are you calling people who are gay as mentally ill?
The fact that being gay or not straight is what their lives revolves around; that it has become what you live for, what people know you for and how you make money. And apart from that they're nothing. They have no value whatsoever. A mediocre actress that hopes to be famous because she starred as a queer in a reboot.
Your sexual orientation should remain private and only your family should know.
It shouldn't be a qualification you put on your resume. And sure as hell shouldn't be used to change already established characters.
Stop ruining movies and go fucking do a 100% original movie on your own, not reboot sagas just for the sake of making everything gay, queer or whatever.
Sigh. I'm sorry that the people in the world dont fit into your blind hatred of anyone who is different to you.
She was famous long before she came out as gay.
She's definitely earned more awards and more successful in her field than you will ever be in yours.
Her sexual orientation is her business and she has the right to share it with whoever she wants to.
Straight people still dominate the straight/transgender and queer roles.
She was hired for her talent and not because she identifies as "gay on her resume".
Nice strawman, idiot.
I never said I hate them, I just said I hate those who's only characteristic is being different.
Those who think being gay is the norm and insulting straight people, calling them homophobes for just not being like them is right or acceptable.
Plus, as I already said, come up with 100% original movies, stop ruining and rebooting sagas only to have queers in it.
These movies are and will always be trash because, like the people taking part in it, they only have one reason and goal only:
"Look at us, we're gay, queer, transgender, gender fluid, etc" or whatever name they will come up with in 10 years time.
They have no screenplay, no directions, no plots, nothing. Just 1 and a half hours of being gay and nothing else.
Plus, it's convenient because when the movie will eventually bomb at the box office they'll blame nazis, fascism, straight white males, homophobes, etc.
It's a win-win scenario.
Plus, I never heard of her. If she's won such "amazing" awards, then why the fuck no one cares about her?
You're on a subreddit dedicated to her and you say you haven't heard of her. I'm calling bullshit.
Also this may seem like a cop out and I'm ok with you believing it but your arguments are literally too stupid to argue against.
Agreed. He's full of shit.
Plus, I never heard of her.
Dude calls her a mediocre actress but he's never heard of her and like you said, comes on this sub to rant about her. Lying out his ass.
I came here following the suggested subreddits you usually find on the right.
My arguments are not stupid. If you don't live your sexual life as sexual life but you use it as a tool, then I don't care about you anymore.
I do support everyone's needs or views. I just hate how they're using cinemas as LGBT+ propaganda.
I don't care if the character is LGBT+, what I care is a movie when it's not 2 hours of him being LGBT+ just for the sake of it. Have the character do something, being something, accomplish something.
And again, create your own movies and sagas, why they have to use the Charlie's Angels name? Because they know it'll be the only selling point.
Why? Because the entire plot of the movie will be dumb jokes about being gay, gay propaganda and hate towards straight people.
No screenplay worth its name, no character development, plot holes, bad choreography, bad dialogues, bad CGI, bad scenography, etc.
A mediocre actress
And from another post:
Plus, I never heard of her.
Yet, you know she is a mediocre actress?
Plus, check this shit out: Record number of people livestream Twilight
That's over a million people and that was in 2011. It's only in your imagination that people don't know who she is. The Twilight franchise was incredibly successful so just with those fans alone millions of people world wide know who she is.
Plus the Daily Mail like to feature her regularly on their website for whatever reason and that's the most widely read newspaper/site in Great Britain.
Yeah, she won a Cesar Award. The only American actress to ever do that and you know, the French wouldn't have given that to her over a French actress if she didn't turn in a great performance- which she did.
I've seen practically every one of her films- ones you never heard of and ones you have. She's a great actress. Cut and dry. And her peers and colleagues think this too- and since they know the industry and their craft, I'd guess their opinion is worth a lot more than yours on the subject.
Nobody gives a shit that she's with a woman.
Hardly irrelevant; she's a fucking talented actor. Doesn't matter who she fucks--though YOU'RE the one making an issue of it.
And, PLEASE, straights: stop constantly ramming it down our throats, okay?
You don't get it do you?
I don't have an issue with people being gay. I have issues with people being only gay to the point of it being the only reason they live for.
I don't care if the bartender/cashier/lawyer/actor/actress is gay, I only care if he does his/her job right; I do get furious when gay people use the gay card everytime someone points out something about them.
"Oh you don't like how I work? Is it because I'm gay?" Or "If you don't like my movie it's because you're an homophobe".
That's what angers people and that's what further distances everyone from fully accepting gay people.
That and clearly doing movies for the sake of having gay people on in it.
This movie will not have anything new, no plot, no screenplay worth its name, no soundtrack, no character development, nothing.
Itll be just 1 hour and something of dumb gay jokes and straight people oppressing gay people.
Not only that but when the movie will bomb at the box office, straight people will be blamed for it.
It's just propaganda and it's actually sad you don't see it, because as I aforementioned, pushing this narrative, only makes you more hated.
sigh Whatever. Just admit you want gay people to stay in the closet. Coming out doesn't make it "the only reason they live for", just "a single" reason they live for. Queer people are almost universally less "in your face" with their sexual orientation than straight folk are. I don't really think the world needs another Charlie's Angels reboot, but bitching about one of the characters being not-straight is exactly like bitching about one of the characters being not-white last time.
And it's sad that you don't see that.
Are you actually that retarded or today's a special day?
English is not that difficult.
Here, read it again:
I don't have an issue with people being gay
I don't care if the bartender/cashier/lawyer/actor/actress is gay, I only care if he does his/her job right
So stop playing the victim.
How hard is it to fucking understand that I want a really good character that might also be gay and not a gay person that might also be a good character?
Also, nice fucking irony on your comment.
What I said was this:
I do get furious when gay people use the gay card everytime someone points out something about them.
sigh Whatever. Just admit you want gay people to stay in the closet.
What you learned?
Keep behaving like that, it'll surely gets you people accepted faster...
Queer people are almost universally less "in your face" with their sexual orientation than straight folk are
Really? So Gay Pride is what then? Rainbow colored hair, flags, cars or crosswalks are what?
Or you mean straight people kissing is "in your face"? Because for you straight people kissing is oppression, right?
Those evil people that every day go out of their way to remind you that they're straight and you're not...
"Are you actually that retarded or is today a special day?" Fixed that for ya. English is apparently that difficult. Pride's a few easily ignorable days a year. ONE day will fuck up traffic if you're a driver. Straight people kissing isn't oppression but it's certainly in everyone's face. I'd rather have a well-written straight character than a poorly-written gay one, but the well-written gay characters wouldn't be there without someone having pushed for a gay character, however they're written. (And it's Charlie's fucking Angels--how well is any character going to be written?) Dude, I'm mostly straight and don't live a life surrounded by queer people, but I still know a guy can get his ass kicked for holding another guy's hand, let alone kissing him. Don't pretend gay rights are a thing of the past, the battle's been won, and queers are just being annoyingly in your face about it. (They do exist, too, though.)
