I loved Alicia
Me too, she was my second choice to be with Clark, after Lana.
We all were, the show runners did her dirty. And just for him to end up with Lana at the end of that season, ugh I hated that.
The whole Lana experiment should have ended before season 3 or 4 but they kept dragging her back up
She was hot! I remember when they got busted by Jonathan in Clark’s room, it was hilarious but she kinda was perfect on that shot
dude, a hottie teleports onto your lap in her underwear...who says no?
Pretty sure EVERYONE was
Lana all the way.
Not me. It was always either Chloe or Lois for Clark. Pete, Bart or Jimmy would be better options for Alicia.
Bart + Alicia, i've always wanted to see a teleporter fight a speedster
Speedster would win because he’s able to act and think on a faster level.
Alicia wouldn’t even have enough time to process what’s happening and “oh I should teleport somewhere else now,” Flash would already be up in her face.
I don't know about that. On The Flash tv series, Barry actually went up against a teleporting villain and he had a lot of trouble catching her.
We don’t talk about that series here lol. It’s absolutely a joke how de powered they make him for the sake of fighting individual villains. One episode they show that he’s able to move fast enough to run into a room faster than the human eye can even see, grab something, and leave. Then the very next episode he struggles in a melee fist fight.
The single most powerful ability anyone can have is speed. When you’re able to move and react faster than the other person can even react, then all the powers in the world won’t help the other guy.
Gotta chime in saying the most powerful ability is and always will be the power to copy other abilities. Either it’s useless because no one has abilities or great because you have all abilities.
Do you mean it in a Rogue from X-men sorta way? Because cool as it is, it would be useless with a speedster in an actual fight.
Rogue is standing 40 feet away from Barry Allen saying “come get me bro.”
Barry goes at flash speed, takes his time to jog over to the side of the parking lot to pickup a small rock. Rogues heart beats one time during this event.
He then runs right at her and gently tosses said pebble. That little pebble is now moving approximately 2000 meters per second. The pebble goes right through her skull like a bullet before her brain can even process that Barry is no longer standing across the parking lot. The end. :)
I hated how they just killed her off and Clark was sad for 10 minutes before moving on. That could have been a huge turning point for his character, he was ready to kill until Lois showed up
I remember being so mad at the time that Pariah ended on a real downer with Alicia dead in Clark’s arms, and then next episode just picks up with him goofing around at college with Lois, and Alicia is never mentioned again
Wasn't there a good amount of time between that episode and the next one?
I totally wanted a full season of clark & alicia at least. Sara Carter is adorable as Alicia and Clark was over the moon having someone he could relax around.
I loved those two. I cried like a baby when Alicia was killed off in S4
I was always rooting for Clark and Alicia. Booooo Lana!
It's been a while, didn't they have her go obsessive crazy?
She eventually redeemed herself and got help
Only to "drug" Clark with red-k and take him to vegas. Granted, she never meant any harm, she just wanted to be with him.
That was before her final return. She came back another time and Clark gave her a third chance Also she didn’t understand red K and thought it made him think for himself more clearly, not corrupt him.
How do you drug somebody, have them elope with you while intoxicated, initiate a sexual encounter also intoxicated from your drugging, and not mean harm?
Was it ever explained why she was killed off? Did Sarah not want to commit to the show? I know there were a few instances where the stars were either fired (John Schneider) written off due to the actors availability (Black Canary/Impulse) or discarded for not clicking with the cast (Ian Somerhalder), but Alicia was always the one who felt most out of place. Her episode in S3 was HUGELY popular, everyone loved her, then they bring her back to kill her after what? 2 or 3 episodes?? It surely couldn’t just be because of the love the writers had for CLana. The rest of S4 should have been developing Clark/Alicia, ending with her death.
I'm rewatching the series for the 103rd time, and when I got to Alicia episodes this time through, I got really irritated with a bunch of characters, Alicia included
I liked her, though, and would have loved if she stuck around.
I'd say she's my 2nd choice for Clark's girlfriend.
Lois, Alicia, Kyle, Chloe (my favorite character out of all of his girlfriends, but I didn't like them together), literally any other character in the show, Lana
If not for the story lois+clark, Alicia and Tess could have ended up with Clark and I would have been fine with it.
Man I got in my feelings so bad when she died. That emotion Clark showed was so real. I could have definitely lived with them as a couple!
I was so sad they killed her off so fast!
Was really happy to see Sarah (the actress) on FallingSkies again, she's awesome - unfortunately FallingSkies quickly became a huge mess and has one of the worst series finales I've ever seen.
All around a good episode. The only bit that bothered me is the conversation that Clark has with his parents after she teleports into his room. Like, there was no real reason to throw out that line about Clark's weakness. It felt like that particular line was forced just to shape the story. They could have made the conversation a whole lot more fluid.
I agree. She had great chemistry with Clark.
I'm surprised how they treated her character.
